🌸 A Note on Flower Quality & Realistic Expectations
Our studio uses premium techniques, artisan Pan-Pastels, and specialized protective sprays to restore and enhance your blooms.
However, the final beauty of your preserved shadow box is directly determined by the freshness and condition of the flowers when they arrive at our studio.
The Golden Rule of Preservation:
Preservation locks a flower in time exactly as it is. It cannot reverse decay, severe bruising, or structural wilting that happens
on the wedding day. If a bloom arrives bruised, translucent, or damaged, it will retain those characteristics through the drying process.
Color Shifts are Natural:
Organic elements change as they dry. While we use fine-art pastels to breathe life and depth back into your petals, please expect some natural shifting. White flowers often dry into a vintage cream or warm ivory, while deep red and purple roses will dry into very dark, rich tones.
We Work with What You Give Us:
We will never refuse a bouquet unless the flowers are completely unusable due to rot or heavy mold. We promise to lovingly sort through your arrangement and meticulously choose the absolute best, healthiest petals and stems available. However, please keep in mind that the higher the quality of the fresh bouquet at Sunday drop-off, the more breathtaking your final heirloom will be.

Turnaround & Shipping
Once your flowers are securely sealed inside their custom shadow box, it is time for your beautiful new heirloom to make its way home to you! Because delicate floral artistry takes time to properly cure and assemble, we treat every single piece with the highest level of care before it leaves our studio.
⏳ 4 to 8-Week Turnaround Time:
From the day your fresh bouquet is dropped off at our Collingwood studio, our complete preservation, color restoration, and structural framing process takes approximately 4 to 8 weeks.
We refuse to rush this timeline to ensure your flowers are perfectly dried and completely structurally sound.
🚚 Safe & Insured Shipping Across Ontario:
We ship exclusively within Ontario. Because a shadow box contains fragile, three-dimensional florals and glass, we use specialized, heavy-duty protective packaging to ensure it arrives at your doorstep in pristine condition. All shipments are fully tracked and insured for your peace of mind.
💳 Shipping Costs & Rates:
Please note that brides are responsible for all return shipping costs. Because rates vary depending on your specific location within Ontario (whether you are in the GTA, Barrie, Grey/Simcoe County) your exact shipping total will be calculated and invoiced in your final payment. We use UPS/FEDEX or for a cheaper rate Canada Post.
Heirloom Blooms is not responsible for the package once it is picked up by the designated courier, and lost or damaged items is the responsibility of the courier company.

If you live nearby or fancy another scenic drive up to the Collingwood/ Blue Mountains area, you are always welcome to bypass shipping fees entirely and arrange a free local pickup from our Collingwood home studio!
